Painting is my passion. Travel satisfies my curiosity, adds to my understanding of the world and provides endless subject matter for my paintings. I lead painting trips around the world so I can travel with other painters.
Daily painting is how I grow as an artist and how I satisfy my passion for painting. I paint as I travel and I paint in my studio. I do not limit my work to one style, one subject or one medium. Growth comes from exploration. www.sandydelehanty.com

My Painting of Pont-en-Royans, France
This is a little ink and watercolor painting I did of Pont-en-Royans, France. I want to go back and paint there again sometime.
Your painting of Pont-en-Royans is lovely. I came across it searching on "Pont en Royans," as I had no idea where it was. I have a postcard of a very old photo, ca. 1854, of the pont. I cannot believe the new photos and your painting of this exact same spot with dwellings situated in the same areas, but hopefully newer than 1850. I too live in No. Cal. (Palo Alto). Do you show at any of the festivals around here, or are you carried by a particular gallery? Thank you. Crystal
